version 3

gotta say, I can now understand why a lot of games don't have too many paths or options available. This was done on a deadline, balancing other school work along with this and trying to stay focus.  If you are on a deadline, you will have to make decisions like what to cut, what to include and how to structure a game. I think I have a small grasp of what narrative designers have to deal with when they get hired on to script a story later on in the game's development under a tight schedule.

I learned how to use datamap and finally figured out how to make the mechanic work. I just didn't know how to use an inventory and crafting system as well as a proper exploration sequence. So I had it cut for now. The battle mechanic has two bugs that I will fix, either through a proper way to code it correctly or by brute force (hardcoding).

please let me know what you thought and what I could improve.
